John Trelease is the Financial Advisor and CFO for Meeker Sharkey Associates.

Prior to joining Meeker Sharkey, John was the Chief Financial Officer of Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency (BACIA), specializing in financial compliance and treasury functions.

John was with BACIA when they were previously known as Fleet Insurance Services and prior to that, Summit Insurance Advisors until Summit Bank was acquired by Fleet Bank in 2001. The firm was originally formed in early 2000 by the combination of several highly regarded insurance and benefits brokerage firms with over two centuries of combined service in the insurance industry.

John graduated from the University of Notre Dame and received a MBA from Loyola University of Chicago.

John and his wife reside in Tinton Falls, New Jersey.
