Richard Skorupski is Senior Vice President of the Property and Casualty Division of Meeker Sharkey Associates. Rich began his career as a senior loss control specialist with Liberty Mutual Insurance Company before transitioning into sales and brokerage services with Wausau Insurance in the early 1980's. In 1985, Rich joined the well-established brokerage firm, Meeker Sharkey Associates, producing, servicing and consulting on large property and casualty insurance clients. Rich continued his career through various merges and acquisitions, serving various industry niches at Bank of America Insurance Services and ultimately, Willis of New Jersey. For over 20 years, Rich has also provided services and designed programs of insurance for the non-profit sector, as well as the construction industry.

His clients have ranged from social service agencies including ARC's, Cerebral Palsy, autistic, and mental health agencies to advocacy, halfway houses and YMCA/YWCA programs. Rich has spoken on Management Liability issues on behalf of the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools, the United Way of Philadelphia's Coordinators and Providers, as well as for the Board of Trustees of his numerous clients. He has also served on numerous safety committees for the benefit of his clients.

In addition to supporting his clients' needs, he is the current President of the Union County Educational Services Foundation in Westfield, New Jersey.

Rich maintains industry designations: Certified Insurance Counselor, Charted Property and Casualty Underwriter and Certified Risk Manager. He is currently pursuing advanced certification in Professional Liability Underwriting.
