Tom Sharkey, Jr. is President of Meeker Sharkey Associates. Previously, Tom was President & Chief Executive Officer of Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency (BACIA), the nation’s 29th largest insurance brokerage firm according to Business Insurance Magazine (July 2006), with over $70 million of revenues and 300 employees in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and New England.

Tom specializes in insurance solutions for Financial Institutions, Professional Management Liability, Hedge Fund and Merger and Acquisitions.

Tom lives in Watchung, New Jersey and received his education at Villanova University (BA in English) and New York University (MBA). He is past Chairman of the Union County College Foundation and is on the Board of the Center for Hope Hospice.
