Renewal Projection – Typically the insurance carriers deliver the health insurance renewal on average 60-days prior to the renewal date, which doesn’t leave companies with much time to make changes if necessary and to design a program that is in alignment with their budget. In order to provide you with plenty of time to review carrier/plan options and make changes if necessary, we utilize a Renewal Estimator tool that projects the renewal months ahead of time. We input into the tool the necessary data such as experience period, current rates, enrollment figures, paid claims, high claimants, trend assumptions and broker commission and project the renewal typically within +/- 2%.

Plan Design & Contribution Modeling – Clients have a difficult time visualizing how consumer-driven health plans work and how to design a CDHC program that is in line with the budget and which will cause minimal employee disruption. We utilize a tool that designs health insurance plans along with the contribution/premium split so the health insurance program is in alignment with your budget, eliminating the need for you to take the time to develop your own spreadsheets and formulas.

Plan Experience Analysis and Reporting – We utilize a tool which provides you with a comparison of your medical/Rx claims experience data to normative data. This helps us determine claim areas which need to be addressed by plan design adjustments and employee communication.

Plan Selector – Our plan selector tool is used in conjunction with open enrollment to help employees decide which plan offering is best suited for them and their families.

Benchmarking - Our benchmarking tool utilizes data from Thomson Reuters and Kaiser Family Foundation (including 2.5M people from a total of $6B in premium) which provides you with a standard to be compare against your current plan. This data supports our benefit plan design strategy and decisions, helping you to enhance your plan while at the same time remaining competitive and reducing your overall plan costs.
