Claims are inevitable and we are dedicated to insuring your claims are reported correctly, handled quickly and responsively and advocated on your behalf. Our commitment to you is not only to engage our claims staff in the reporting of your loss, but to involve our Executive Management Team when necessary to insure quality carrier responsiveness.
In extreme cases when we cannot be reached, your carrier will expect you to take reasonable actions to protect your property from further damage. Reasonable expenses to mitigate loss (i.e., sealing a roof to prevent water damage) will be accepted by your carrier.
Be sure to document your loss through photography to help adjustors verify damages.
Should a claim occur after normal business hours, over the weekend or on a holiday, Meeker Sharkey maintains a 24-hour claim notification service. In these cases, please call 1-866-971-1372 and a representative will direct you to the appropriate insurance company claim service department to report the loss.
